Founded in 1940, Batten Airport was designated as an FAA reliever airport for Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport in 1982. John H. Batten Airport is owned by the Racine Commercial Airport Corporation. Uniquely positioned in Southeastern Wisconsin, Batten Airport is in the middle of the Chicago/Milwaukee business corridor, close to both Mitchell and O'Hare Airports, yet free of the congestion and Terminal Control Area regulations. It is convenient to the interstate highway system and is located near the Racine business community. Batten Airport is an airport of entry with customs and immigration services on-call twenty-four hours a day. |

Batten Airport has Jeta fuel and 100-low-lead Aviation Gasoline. Lineservice personnel are trained and certified to service all types of general aviation aircraft with refueling available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Services such as deicing, catering, car rental, movies, courtesy cars and conference rooms are also available. Batten Airport proudly offers twenty-four hour security with full perimeter fences and electronic gates to enhance the safety of its customers. Hangars are available for rent or sale for many different sizes of aircraft (subject to availability). Land is also available for lease for those customers wishing to build their own facility. There are currently 8 corporate facilities, 33 rental hangars and over 50 outside tiedowns on the airport. There are industrial park facilities with available development land contiguous to the airport; please contact airport management with your specific requirements. |
